The Art of Getting Things Done
Over the last few weeks, I’ve had a few questions around a process I use from the book, Getting Things Done – The Art of Stress Free Productivity by David Allen. Today, my intent is not to go into an in depth explanation of the process and only to share a visual of the process.

For me personally, my “In-Basket” is my email Inbox. Nearly everything I do ends up purposely filtering through my email Inbox even if it’s me simply sending myself an email to capture. Then, a key that many find helpful is the question “Will it take less than 2 minutes?” If “yes”, then “Do it”! If “no” then, either “Delegate it” or “Defer it” where as “delegating” is a topic I normally encourage leaders to challenge themselves to do more of.
If you’d like to learn more about this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out or even pick up the book I’ve linked above. As always, we’re here to serve you and your teams if we can ever be of assistance with leadership tools like todays.
Have a great day “getting things done”!
