About
Chris is President and Head of Operations US for an international controlled environment agriculture company. We proudly grow consistently clean, nutritious, fresh, and flavorful produce, utilizing a combination of cutting-edge research and revolutionary technology.
Additionally, Chris is a leadership coach and consultant and is passionate about aiding leaders and their teams in clearly defining what “success” looks like and building strategies to achieve this “success”. Through peer-to-peer advisory boards and other engagements, Chris sits with leaders coaching through the lens of “significance” on a wide variety of life and organizational challenges.
Remembering working in the family business as early as his kindergarten years, Chris attributes much of his success to an entrepreneurial family who has owned a variety of businesses including dry cleaning, laundry, retail clothing, haircare franchises, real estate investments, and others.
Chris is the quarterback of the 1986 IHSAA Class A State Football Champions. He looks back on this season as a defining moment in his life where he discovered he was a leader. Chris received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. While he tends to downplay it, others tend to point out that Rose-Hulman has been the #1 Undergraduate Engineering School for 20+ years straight.
Chris brings over 30+ years of leadership experience as a senior level executive, coach, and consultant. During the first half of Chris’ career, he fast tracked into senior leadership positions with a mid-size corporation. He had key achievements in leading teams through two financial turnarounds, a greenfield construction and start-up, and multi-million dollar cost savings. Chris’ success in this environment was greatly attributed to his ability to engage teams in a common vision.
Leaving his corporate role in 2008, Chris started his own coaching and consulting business. In 2012, Chris partnered with Truth At Work in facilitating peer-to-peer advisory boards for business leaders and C-level executives. It was during this next decade that Chris developed a sense of life purpose and desire to move from “success” to “significance”. When an opportunity arose out of Truth At Work in 2016 to lead a purpose-driven organization focused in the emerging industry of controlled environment agriculture, Chris stepped back into day-to-day leadership of an entrepreneurial scale up.
To the point of The Arnold’s, Chris married his high school sweetheart and the homecoming queen, Lisa, in 1992. Chris and Lisa currently are enjoying being empty nesters having raised two children, Chris Jr and Kylie whom both have now “flown from the nest”. Chris and Lisa currently reside in Whitestown, IN, a northwest suburb of Indianapolis and are active members of Trader’s Point Christian Church. Of particular interest to Chris and Lisa are healthy marriages which has led to couples coaching and premarital coaching. Additionally, Chris and Lisa lead Parent Equipping Cohorts: Parents of LGBTQ Kids and Youth utilizing The Center for Faith, Sexuality, & Gender’s curriculum.
