The Invitation to a Different Way: Clarity Through Surrender
I remember the moment I realized my pace wasn’t sustainable.
Outwardly, things looked fine.
I was hitting goals, running meetings, checking boxes.
But inwardly… I was off.
Exhausted. Disconnected. Unclear.
At first, I tried to fix it with more — more effort, more strategy, more control.
But clarity didn’t come from doing more.
It came when I finally stopped.
The Old Way: Striving
The world tells us to hustle harder.
That success is earned. That impact is built. That clarity comes through effort.
But what if that’s not how God works?
What if clarity is a byproduct of surrender —
and direction comes after we lay down the need to figure it all out?
The New Way: Surrender
Jesus doesn’t just offer a better outcome —
He offers a better way.
“Come to Me… and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
Not a crash. Not burnout.
Rest.
But rest requires trust.
And trust starts with letting go.
The Invitation
If your soul is tired…
If your vision feels foggy…
If the pace you’re running no longer works…
That may not be failure.
It may be the Father inviting you to walk a different way.
The same invitation He gave me —
And the same one I wrote about in my upcoming book.
Ready to Explore It?
This month, I’ll be sharing the heart behind From Success to Surrender
— a book for leaders who are ready to stop striving and start aligning.
But for now, maybe just take one step.
Pause. Breathe. Ask: Is there another way?
Because sometimes clarity begins the moment you let go.
