You Were Designed on Purpose, for a Purpose
I meet a lot of leaders who feel tired, not because they’re doing too little, but because they’re doing things misaligned with who God created them to be.
We often confuse productivity with purpose. But purpose flows from design.
In From Success to Surrender, I share how I used to believe calling meant figuring out what God wanted me to do.
Over time, I learned calling begins by understanding who God made me to be.
When we live out of alignment with our divine design, exhaustion is inevitable. But when we operate in harmony with it, life produces energy, not burnout.
Scripture says, “You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13) That means your wiring isn’t random. Your gifts, passions, and even your pain are part of a tapestry God is weaving for His glory.
Discovering yourself isn’t about self-promotion — it’s about stewardship. It’s learning to say, “God, how can I use what You’ve given me in the way You intended?”
Reflection Question:
Where are you operating outside your divine design — and what would it look like to return to who God created you to be?
This reflection comes from Chapter 6 of From Success to Surrender.
If you’ve ever felt overextended or unsure of your next step, this chapter offers practical tools to rediscover your design and restore your energy.
