Coaching versus Counseling
This past week I had the opportunity to sit in a coaching training session with leaders from across the nations which was extremely valuable. We’ll likely be sharing more on the specifics in the months ahead.
One of the topics we covered was best practices in one-on-one coaching relationships. A topic which comes up in the coaching world frequently is where coaching crosses the line with counseling which should be done by licensed professionals. This isn’t always the easiest decision and I’m always thankful for others input and experience.
As part of our training, we were afforded the opportunity to view a firsthand counseling session to better understand what goes on in their environment. We were truly impacted by this session and wanted to pass this along to our community. It’s about 6 minutes in length and we encourage you to view the entire session.
Be sure to let us know what your thoughts are after viewing as we always are welcoming your input.
Thanks for continuing to be a part of our community and have a FANTASTIC day!
